THOUGHTFUL CHOICES

Care first.
Supplies with a purpose.

Find independent rescue resources, explore care guidance, and compare supplies around your sulcata’s needs.

Begin with the essentials

Our care journal covers food and water, habitat planning, and the long-term commitment of sulcata ownership. Prepare questions for a veterinarian experienced with sulcatas.

Independent organizations, separate policies

These organizations are not presented as partners, sponsors, or representatives of Sulcata Keeper. Inclusion is not a guarantee of their services, available animals, or intake space. Contact each organization directly to confirm whether it can help with sulcatas, its screening requirements, service area, and any fees. Sulcata Keeper’s fee-free policy applies to placements through our own service; other organizations may charge fees.

Plan before you purchase

New keepers also need an enclosure and a suitable heating and UVB plan. Equipment must fit the animal and housing; a generic starter kit is not a complete lifetime setup. Buying more supplements is not a substitute for reviewing the diet. Read Chicago Exotics Animal Hospital’s sulcata feeding guidance.

Our commitment

Care education and fee-free adoption guidance remain accessible. Purchases are never required to adopt or use our care education, and never buy priority in the adoption process. Sulcata Keeper is an independent educational and adoption-support initiative, not a veterinary service or a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
